At Paleo Belle, we are all about natural alternatives to everything. So, we are going to take a look at essential oils and all the cleaning effects they have. Did you know some can be used to help with allergies, calm your mind, and clean surfaces. Some help your allergies and clean the air in addition to surfaces. Essential oils can be used for many things, but one of the great things these oils can be used for is to clean the air and surfaces of your home. Allergy trio – peppermint oil, lemon oil, lavender oil
Allergy trio is great in an infuser. This is a go-to for us when we are having allergy issues.
Thieves Oil
Very popular! Thieves oil is a great all-around cleaning oil. Here is some household cleaner that is available.
lavender oil
More than just a great smelling essential oil, Lavender oil is known to have some antibacterial properties and is used for cleaning surfaces.
clove oil
Clove oil is anti-fungal, antimicrobial, antiviral, antiseptic, and also an aphrodisiac.
cinnamon oil
Cinnamon oil is one of the best natural disinfectants you can find and it smells amazing!
oregano oil
Oregano oil is a potent germ-killing compound that can also be used to naturally enhance your immune support. Some research also says oregano oil is effective against all Gram-positive & negative bacteria.
tea tree oil
Tree Tea oil is commonly used to treat skin issues like acne. But, tee tree oil has antiseptic and antiviral properties. Also very useful for cleaning and deodorizing your home. Just dilute with water in a spray bottle and spray on common surfaces.
thyme oil
Sometimes referred to as the best antibacterial oil for cleaning the kitchen due to it’s proposed strength against ecoli.
basil oil

lemon oil
lemon oil is used in and as a surface and all-purpose cleaner.
lime oil
Lime oil smells great! And, According to Healthline, kills harmful viruses and bacteria, and reduces inflammation
sandalwood oil

peppermint oil
Peppermint oil can be used in disinfectant spray since it has antifungal and antibacterial properties. And, it smells awesome!
citrus oil

This is a great all-around essential oil. And, is used to as an excellent air freshener and odor reducer in the laundry or in a diffuser. But, it is super popular and we use it in our home.
