2 pounds Grass Fed Ground Beef
2 tbs Avocado Oil
1 Spaghetti Squash
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Onion Powder
1 or 2 pinches Himalayan Salt
1 Jar (26oz) Organic Pasta Sauce

Yes, there is such a thing as a spaghetti squash! Yes, it is a pretty awesome alternative to use for spaghetti! And, yes there is such a thing as Paleo Spaghetti.

This is a super simple and pretty quick dish to cook. The most time-consuming thing might be cooking the ground beef, or gutting the spaghetti squash.

I’ll be adding more pictures later. But, I wanted to go ahead get this one out there for you to check out. I promise this will be one of your busy mom adds. Say hello to Paleo Spaghetti. And, our kids like it too!

Preheat Oven to 400 F

Prepare The Spaghetti Squash

1) Cut the Spaghetti Squash longways. And, clean out the inside.
2) Lightly cover the exposed insides in avocado oil

Place the spaghetti squash on a large cooking tray

You will first put a small amount of water in the bottom of the glass tray. Then you will place the spaghetti squash face down in the tray.

Use a fork to poke holes in the top of the spaghetti squash

Put Spaghetti Squash in the oven for 25-30 minutes

You will know it is done when you can easily scrap the meat of the spaghetti squash out.

Prepare Ground Beef

No one likes plain ground beef, So you will want to add your garlic powder, onion powder, and Himalayan salt to your meat and mix.

Cook Ground Beef

put your mixed ground beef in a skillet and cook on medium heat until thoroughly cooked.

Remove Spaghetti Squash From The Oven, and Scrape Out Insides.

CAREFULLY, remove the spaghetti squash from the oven inside of glass tray. Flip over the spaghetti squash. Use a fork to remove the meat of the squash long ways. As you do so you will see the squash come out in long "pasta" looking strips. Do this until you have loosened all the insides.

Create Your Plate

On a normal size serving plate, add desired amounts of spaghetti squash "pasta", Then add your meat and pasta sauce to the top. You can add nutritional yeast to the top as well for the parmesan cheese effect. And, you are ready to eat ...once it cools off a little bit.. ENJOY!
